V samem muzeju so razstavljeni čevlji in stroji, s katerimi so šivali čevlje, vendar so slednje začeli uporabljati šele v 19. stoletju.
Shoemaker's museum was established in 1979 in honor of all the shoemakers in local area and have contributed to the local development.
Establishment of museum was influenced by Guild of shoemakers and shoemaking company, Planika.
Museum is set in an authentic prekmurian house, covered with roof made out of straw. In those houses shoemaker's family had two rooms, one for shoe craftmanship and second room for a family life, where they ate and sleep. Housing is replicated to represent real authentic shoemaker's house. Workshop room is full of vintage equipment that was used for crafting shoes. Shoemaker was called the "master". He usually had he helpers called "apprentices". As the shoemaking craftmanship ship was not an easy job, it sometimes needed help of whole family, working all days and in tight schedules even in nights.
Museum exhibition is full of equipment and machinery used in begining of 19th century.
Shoemakers museum was renovated few years ago to preserve memory of heritage for younger generation.
